What are Avana 100 MG tablets?
The Avana 100 MG tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), in males. Erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men is defined as the inability to achieve or maintain a firm erect penis, adequate for sexual activity. This happens due to insufficient blood flow into the penis.
How does Avana tablets work?
Avanafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor, is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men and is found in Avana tablets. Nitric oxide is released in the erectile tissue of the penis during sexual stimulation, which activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase. This enzyme causes an erection by increasing the amounts of a substance called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which relaxes the blood arteries in the penis and allows blood to fill the spongy erectile tissues.
Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) is another enzyme that breaks down cGMP, restricting blood flow into the penis and resulting in erection loss.
Avanafil in Avana tablets works by inhibiting the function of PDE5 and increasing blood flow to the penis to induce an erection. Avanafil works by allowing the natural process of sexual stimulation to activate the cGMP mechanism for obtaining and sustaining an erection.
How long does Avana last?
If you take Avana 100 MG within an hour of intercourse, you should be able to acquire an erection in about 30 minutes that will last for around 4 hours, assuming you are sexually aroused. If you are not aroused, Avana 200 tablets will not work.
